Ashok has held prior positions as Head, North America Software Development for Sony Ericsson Mobile and Managing Director, Nortel Networks, International Software Operations, which is where he gained invaluable knowledge that helped him as the founding executive for Long Board Inc. While at Long Board he led the paradigm shift from traditional circuit switching to Internet-based voice over IP. Ashok has successfully built and grown organizations from start to $55 million per year.

Prior to starting Patagonia Health, Ashok served as the Director of Software Development at Misys Healthcare Systems for five years. Based on a deep understanding of the healthcare IT market and emerging Software as a Service business models, Ashok laid the foundation for Patagonia Health.

Amos Slaymaker VP Sales Patagonia HealthAmos Slaymaker, VP, Sales and Marketing

A 21 year veteran in Health Care IT, Amos is responsible for leading the Business Development Team to grow Patagonia Health sales throughout the United States. He has a track record of success growing revenues across a broad spectrum of customer profiles. Amos’ experience includes selling to local, state, and federal government entities, behavioral health organizations, Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospitals, home care agencies, and group practice settings. He is also an industry-known leader in driving partnerships and promoting channel sales. Amos held leadership positions at Allscripts, IDEXX Laboratories, GFI Software, and most recently at the patient experience start-up Bivarus, Inc, acquired by Press Ganey Associates.

Amos is a native North Carolinian, born and raised right here in Cary, NC and has a wife and three daughters. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State University with a double major in Healthcare Management and Information Systems. He also holds his Masters in Business Administration.

Don Sargent, VP Customer Experience Patagonia HealthDon Sargent, VP, Customer Experience

Don has more than 25 years of experience in the Healthcare IT / Medical Software industry with roles ranging from account management to organizational leadership. He has worked directly with Electronic Health Records and Practice Management systems, Revenue Cycle Management solutions and Clinical Data Repositories. Don has extensive operational experience in the areas of product implementation & training, customer support, call centers, technical services, software deployment and process improvement.

Don has held prior positions as Director EHR Support Service at Misys Healthcare Systems (Allscripts), Director of Customer Service Operations for eCast Corporation, and Program Manager/Principal Consultant for The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence. Don is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has earned a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Harbi DhanjalHarbi Dhanjal, VP, Engineering

Harbi is a seasoned Software Engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in Product Design and Engineering across diverse industry verticals – Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Utilities, Finance and Security. He has a proven track record as a technologist with experience in a wide spectrum of technology horizontals – SaaS, Cloud Platforms, Mobile, Web & Portals, SOA/Middleware, UI/UX, BI and Integrations. He is experienced in building and leading self-organizing on-site, off-site and off-shore engineering teams.

Harbi’s past experiences include working directly with Oracle’s Fortune-100 customers to establish the technical architecture, design and delivery for Oracle SaaS/Cloud products. While working for Sentara Healthcare, Harbi led the Consumer Digital Services team that designed and implemented an in-house Practice Management solution, a full featured Patient Portal that integrated with Epic EMR and the flagship iOS and Android mobile apps for the corporate brand. Earlier in his career, Harbi worked on multiple Message Security product engineering teams at Symantec Corp, designing products to secure web and email transactions from spam and malware.

Harbi earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University, and he holds a MS in Computer Science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Tom Skelton

Tom, with more than 25 years of experience, is a seasoned chief executive with international and public company board experience plus strong knowledge of the technology and healthcare markets. Currently, Tom is CEO of Surescripts, a nationwide health information network that connects disparate parts of the healthcare system.

Prior to joining Surescripts, Tom was CEO of Foundation Radiology Group, a pre-eminent diagnostic imaging, and radiology service bureau and physician practice group. Prior to joining FRG, Tom was president of MED 3000, a national provider of healthcare management and technology services. Earlier, Tom assumed increasing responsibilities at Misys Healthcare Systems, a top healthcare IT company. As CEO, Tom grew revenue from $260M to almost $600M over a period of six years. Tom has served on the Boards of Misys plc, Microfocus plc, the Wake Education Partnership, and the Robert Morris University School of Nursing. Tom earned a B.S.B.A. from Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh, PA.

Charles Lambert

Charles is an experienced CFO with international experience, having lived and worked in the USA, Europe and Asia. Over his 30 year career he has held CFO positions in a number of companies, both public and private, in different industries. Currently he is the CFO of Novella Clinical Inc., a full-service clinical research organization with offices in the US and UK. Prior to that he spent 10 years as CFO of Misys Healthcare Systems, a division of Misys plc, based in North Carolina. During his tenure at Misys, revenue grew from $250M to $550M and the company made a number of key acquisitions. In addition to holding the CFOI position, Charles acted at separate times as interim president of the clearing house and homecare divisions as well as sponsored the roll-out of Lean Six Sigma across the division.
